Worship

We gather every Sunday morning at 10 am. Our service is the Holy Eucharist. This service is also known as the Holy Communion, the Lord’s Supper, and the Mass. The Holy Eucharist features the liturgy of the Word, with Bible readings, music, the homily, the creed, the prayers of the people, the confession and the peace.  It is followed by the liturgy of the Eucharist, which includes the canon of the mass, and the communion. All Christians who have received Holy Baptism in the name of the Holy Trinity are welcome to receive Holy Communion.  Please join us after Church for coffee hour, where we share coffee, baked goods along with small town charm and hospitality.

We also celebrate a number of special Holy Days throughout the year, Ash Wed, and Holy Thursday and Good Friday leading up to our Easter services.  In addition, we celebrate The Acension, St. Paul, June 29th, St. Mary, August 15th, All Saints, Nov 1st, The Epiphany, Jan 6th, and Candlemas, The Presentation of our Lord Jesus Christ, Feb 2nd.  We usually worship at 7 pm in Holy Week before Easter and 6 pm on other Holy Days.  Please check back for more information.

Two Church Campuses, One Parish

During the fall, winter and spring, late September through mid June, our Sunday services are at St. Paul’s Church in Baden. During the summer, from mid June through late September we worship at St. Mary’s Chapel in Aquasco. Both Church Campuses belong to St. Paul’s Parish.

Baptism, Confirmation, Weddings and Funerals

Baptism and Confirmation are rites by which new people join the Christian community and become part of the Body of Christ.  Please join us for worship on Sunday and major Holy Days and know you are welcome at any time to enter our process of preparation for Holy Baptism.  St. Paul’s celebrates Holy Baptism on four special Holy Days, The Great Vigil of Easter, Pentecost, All Saints, and The Feast of the Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Please speak with Father Christian if you are interested in learning more.

St. Paul’s offers Pastoral Offices, Weddings and Funerals, only for current members of our parish family as these are times of celebration and mourning for our community of faith.

We schedule Funerals on select weekdays, Monday, Tuesday or Thursday, except for holidays.  We do not hold Funerals on Saturday, Sunday, State or Church holidays.  Due to the Covid 19 Pandemic crisis our Churches are closed and only graveside services are possible.  Given the Social Distancing requirements that must continue to be enforced, even after our gradual re-opening, indoor funeral services and traditional gatherings for repasts will not be possible until after the Covid 19 crisis has ended.
